About us
Infortar was established in 1997 by private investors with the goal of acquiring Tallink and injecting capital for its further growth. From 2004 onwards, expansion into the hotel industry, real estate, and transportation began. In 2016, a dynamic entry into the energy sector occurred. Today, Infortar holds 68.47% stake in the leading Baltic Sea maritime transportation conglomerate AS Tallink Grupp, as well as 100% ownership of Estonia's largest gas company, AS Eesti Gaas.
Infortar's real estate and hotel investments include four modern hotels and spas in Tallinn and Riga, the group's headquarters at Liivalaia 9, Tallink's headquarters known as Icehouse and Firehouse, business buildings referred to as Tähesaju Twins in Lasnamäe, a logistics center in Maardu, a business building in Tallinn Old Town (Vana Posti 7), and the Tallink Tennis Centre.
Among Infortar's subsidiaries, the most notable are Estonian Minerals Group engaged in construction minerals, printing companies Vaba Maa and Printon, agricultural company Halinga, Tallink Takso, Tallink Tennis Centre, construction companies EG Ehitus, INF Ehitus, and INF Infra, and many others.
Infortar's stock, with the trading symbol INF1T, is listed on the Tallinn Stock Exchange.
