Similar to the Finnish, Polish, Latvian, Lithuanian, and German markets, Eesti Gaas is adopting the brand name Elenger, and the company’s new business name will be AS Elenger Grupp.
“Our company has long since moved beyond being solely ‘Estonian’ and only ‘gas’ – we have grown into an international energy company with a diverse product portfolio. Figuratively speaking, we operate from the Arctic Circle to the German border, with the majority of our revenues generated and assets located abroad. In addition to selling energy, we produce solar electricity and biomethane and manage distribution network infrastructure,” noted the company’s CEO, Margus Kaasik.
“With the name change, we are aligning our external form with our content. The new name reflects our expanded value proposition – electricity, energy, biomethane, and LNG – clean, Western-sourced natural gas, which we supply to the entire region and which has helped us become the market leader,” said Kaasik.
The new business name will take effect once the relevant entry is made in the commercial register. For customers, the name change will not entail any obligations or inconveniences, as all contracts will remain valid under their existing terms.
