Q2 Results of 2026

Infortar increased its operating profit by 94% to €51 million in the first half of the year, while EBITDA rose by 31% to €111 million. Revenue remained broadly in line with the same period last year at €946 million. The Group's investments totalled €50 million during the first six months of the year. The improvement in profitability was primarily driven by stronger performance in the energy and maritime transport segments, the addition of new agricultural businesses, and the discontinuation of loss-making operations. All of Infortar's business segments improved their first-half EBITDA performance, with the most significant turnaround recorded in the supporting businesses segment, where EBITDA improved from a €4.4 million loss to a €5.6 million profit.

"We have spoken extensively about profitable growth and investments, completed major acquisitions, and expanded our operations across different sectors and countries. Our first-half results demonstrate that these decisions are creating lasting value and that profitable growth is driven not only by one-off transactions but also by our day-to-day business operations," said Ain Hanschmidt, CEO of Infortar.

"In the energy sector, Elenger continued to invest in a balanced way across both the energy transition and renewable energy. As Estonia's largest producer of green gas, we opened a new biomethane plant in June next to the Halinga dairy farms, strengthening both energy and food security. In the sale of Western-origin natural gas, we maintained strategic reserves and secured supplies for the next heating season – half of the required volumes have already reached our region through ports in Finland and Lithuania, while agreements for the remaining deliveries have been concluded, ensuring security of supply for our customers," Hanschmidt noted.

"We remain confident in Tallink's long-term growth prospects and have further increased our shareholding in the company. Tallink continues to generate stable revenue, supported in recent months by growth in freight volumes, while the current management team's focus is on improving profitability and operational efficiency," Hanschmidt added.

Infortar's second-quarter EBITDA amounted to €64.2 million, while operating profit reached €29.7 million, representing increases of 12% and 10% respectively compared with the same period last year. The Group's total assets increased by nearly 5% to €2.7 billion. In July, the company paid €31.5 million in dividends, with the next dividend payment of the same amount scheduled for December.
