“The third quarter brought significant decisions for Infortar that will shape the Group’s development in the coming years and provide a platform for further growth. We have consistently expanded our operations in sectors where we see long-term growth potential. In September, we signed an agreement to acquire Lithuanian agricultural group Litagra, valuing the company at €95 million. We completed the transaction in October, making Infortar Agro the largest milk producer in the Baltic states. This marks an important milestone in the development of our agricultural business and provides a strong foundation for future growth,” said Ain Hanschmidt, CEO of Infortar.

“Tallink delivered a strong summer quarter, with increases in passenger numbers, freight volumes and revenue. Despite rising fuel prices and environmental taxes, Tallink remains focused on cost efficiency. Elenger concentrated on ensuring security of supply for its customers ahead of the heating season, replenishing gas storage reserves and securing new LNG deliveries. The real estate segment recorded stable growth and an increase in rental income,” Hanschmidt added.

As at the end of September, Infortar’s total assets amounted to €2.62 billion and equity stood at €1.25 billion. The Group’s borrowings decreased by 5.5% compared with the end of last year, reaching €1.01 billion, while net debt fell by 2.8% to €828 million. In the third quarter, Infortar generated revenue of €458 million and a net profit of €50 million.
