Competition Authority allowed to acquire Halinga

51% of Halinga OÜ now belongs to Infortar, and the company will continue its operations as a member of the group.

"Infortar sees this transaction as an entry into a new field of activity. However, it is important to consider that modern agriculture extends far beyond cultivating fields and producing milk; it includes areas in which we have previous experience, such as the circular economy and renewable energy," noted Infortar's CEO Martti Talgre.

Located in Pärnumaa, Halinga OÜ is one of Estonia's largest milk producers and an important employer in the region, with over 70 people working there. The number of Halinga's dairy herd and young animals exceeds 3000, and the cultivated land area reaches 3700 hectares.
